About Instagram Job Guide

By Influish Editorial Team · Published

Short answer

Instagram Job Guide is a free directory of careers that use Instagram, written for job seekers in India. It is published by Influish, the Udaipur company whose November 2026 “doomscroller” opening was widely reported. It is not a news outlet, not a job board and not affiliated with Instagram, Meta or any publisher we cite.

Who publishes this site?

This site is published by Influish, which builds tools for Instagram creators. It is one of a small group of topic guides Influish publishes; each covers a different question. This one answers a single, broad question: what jobs exist around Instagram in India, and how do people get them? Because Influish is itself mentioned in news coverage of a trend-research role, we flag that relationship wherever we refer to the story, and we describe the story only as attributed, reported news.

Why does this site exist?

The “doomscroller” headlines prompted many people to search for Instagram jobs. Most of what they found was either job-board listings with no explanation or dated guides. We wanted a single, current, plain-English map of the roles, written without hype, without invented salaries and without fake vacancies.

How is the content researched?

  • Role profiles describe how these jobs are commonly structured in Indian agencies, brands, publishers and public bodies. They are editorial summaries, not survey results.
  • The skills matrix is an original editorial judgement by our team; its method is explained on the matrix page.
  • Any figure we publish comes from a source we opened and checked, linked in a dated Sources section on the same page.
  • News about the Influish story is drawn only from reports verified in our shared source registry (last verified 6 November 2026). Single-source and conflicting claims are labelled; unknowns are stated as unknown.
  • We paraphrase; we do not reproduce articles.

What will this site never publish?

  • Job vacancies or application forms. We are a directory, not a recruiter.
  • Salary or stipend figures that we cannot source.
  • Testimonials, ratings, reviews or quotes we cannot verify.
  • Links that ask readers to pay to apply.

How do I report a mistake?

If something on this site is wrong or out of date, contact Influish through the details on influish.com. We check every report against sources, correct errors promptly and change the “Updated” date on the page when the content materially changes.

Which sources do we rely on most?

For platform and training facts we prefer official sources (Meta, Instagram, government portals and India’s advertising self-regulator). For the Influish story we use only news reports that loaded and were checked, such as India Today’s 5 November 2026 report. The full list of non-news references used across this site is below.
